We decided to stop by here on a whim and it was a great experience. While we intended to get ramen, the three of us all went with other options upon viewing the extensive menu. Two of us had the curry katsu and the other had the unagi bowl. The katsu dishes were our favorite, with homemade Japanese curry sauce. The unagi bowl was also tasty, especially the fried rice that came with it. The service was friendly and the restaurant is clean and bright. It is a great price point for a hearty meal and I definitely recommend checking it out for affordable comfort food.

4/12/25 Since it was my niece’s birthday I told her to pick a place. She wanted Japanese Curry & found Matsu on google. Walked in and was greeted right away by EJ. She sat us down and told us about the menu and what she recommend. We got Takoyaki, kimchijeon, soy garlic karaage and Chicken Curry. Grace another server came out to serve the food while EJ was taking orders because it started to get busy. Everything tasted very delicious and serves was so friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you want something away from spring mountain.

This location is my new favorite ramen spot! The service is great, and the ladies are very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the portions are big and a very good price. I highly recommend! I had the pork rib ramen.

Absolutely amazing spot! Super clean, incredibly friendly staff, and hands down the BEST donkatsu in Las Vegas — no question about it. Crispy, juicy, and cooked to perfection. And the best part? It's all at a very reasonable cost. If you're a katsu lover, this place is a must-try!

Traditional Chinese decor, sleek and modern. EJ and the other ladies are so nice. The food is absolutely delicious. The service is awesome, and everyone is so friendly. The prices are right, and the quality of their ramen noodles is excellent. You can order out or dine in with your family. I ordered the creamy crab ramen. It was so delicious and made with real crab.

I was in the area for a few errands when hunger struck. I pulled up a list of "food near me" and this highly rated place came up. My mom and I were instantly intrigued by the menu and with it being so close we had to stop there. The ladies greeting us were so friendly! They answered a few questions and gave us time to make the difficult decision on what to order. Every dish looked like it would hit the spot. The pictures of the dishes hanging on the walls made the dish even more difficult. We finally placed our order, and after our first bite, we instantly knew we would be returning. The eel bowl was the best eel I have had in a very long time. The portion size was perfect. You are not presented with an oversized portion of semi-tasty food. You can taste the quality of their ingredients. The bulgogi bowl was so good!!!! Small cuts of quality beef with lightly flavored food for a light lunch. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed our experience at Matsu. This was our second time, and just as good as the first. First, the owner. Warm and caring. She remembered us. Between our two visits, we have tried. Pork, chicken curry, and chicken and cheese katsu. Miso soup, and bulgogi Ramen. Great tasting food. The portions are large, and the prices are too good to be true. Highly recommend

We had the pork katsu and pork char siu bowl. Included was a nice miso soup and pickled radish with spicy peppers. They serve filtered water in nice insulated containers that keep it ice cold. The establishment is super clean. I couldn't believe it when I saw staff literally down on the floor wiping everything clean! The bathroom is clean as well and the staff are very attentive and friendly.
